FAQ
Is the boat safe?
Yes, the Bateau Fantôme is a certified passenger vessel, operated by a Transport Canada-certified crew. She’s very stable, offering smooth, pleasant sailing. The entire perimeter is secured by a railing, and although life jackets are on board, you don’t have to wear them. So you can enjoy your adventure in peace… even if a few ghosts lurk!
Is food allowed on board?
Of course they do! Even ghosts nibble from time to time. You’re welcome to bring a little snack on board, but there’s no need to bring all your picnic paraphernalia… Our prankster spirits might steal it all!
Is there a bar service on board?
Oui ! À bord du Bateau Fantôme, vous trouverez un bar proposant une sélection de breuvages, dont des bières, des coolers et des rafraîchissements sans alcool. De quoi trinquer… avec ou sans fantômes !
Are there toilets on board?
Yes, there are toilets on board.
What happens if it rains?
If it looks like bad weather is on the way, show up for your adventure anyway. The Captain will monitor the situation and decide whether or not to cancel your departure. Quebec is notorious for its fickle weather, but often the skies clear just in time. Ghosts hate to disappoint, so we do our best to ensure the adventure, even in light rain, as long as it’s safe. Prepare accordingly!
